Accreditation

Bayan Claremont is a project of Claremont Lincoln University, which is a division of Claremont School of Theology, a regionally (WASC) accredited graduate institution in California. As an emerging institution, Claremont Lincoln University is applying for eligibility for independent accreditation with WASC. Bayan Claremont also intends to apply for independent accreditation with WASC.

Claremont Lincoln University degree programs are currently offered and accredited through Claremont School of Theology. Students who matriculate into programs at Claremont Lincoln University (such as Bayan Claremont) therefore are regarded as Claremont School of Theology students and are eligible to apply for federal financial assistance, and international students are eligible to apply for visas, in accordance with applicable federal regulations. Students also will be able to transfer these Claremont School of Theology-accredited credits to other institutions, and graduates will receive an accredited degree.
